C-Skips

Purpose of this exercise: TO DEVELOP A MORE EXPLOSIVE STRIDE

The ability to execute an explosive knee drive combined with an efficient leg reach will promote the development of a longer stride. The harder you pull back on the floor, the harder the floor pushes back in the same direction you are pulling.


Technique
1. March driving the lead knee up. Extend the leg at the knee joint.  
2. Pull the leg back to the ground and grab ground with the foot. The harder you pull back on the ground, the harder the ground will push back against your force.
3. Follow through by bringing your heel to your buttocks.

CAUTIONS!!

•Keep your body straight, pulling hard will prevent incorrect vertical alignment.
