Machine Seated Shrug

Purpose of this exercise: TO DEVELOP THE TRAPEZIUS MUSCLES

This exercise should be done through the fullest range of motion possible.


Technique
1. Adjust seat height so the arms are fully extended when you grasp the handles on the machine. Palms should be facing each other.  
2. The arms should remain extended throughout the entire exercise.
3. While keeping the head in a neutral position and looking forward, slowly bring your shoulders up towards your ears.
4. Slowly lower the weight.

CAUTIONS!!
• Try not to move anything but your shoulders.
• Never exercise without a competent spotter.
