Machine Decline Press

Purpose of this exercise: TO STRENGTHEN THE PECTORALIS MAJOR, DELTOID, TRICEPS

A decline press machine is sometimes part of a 'double-chest' machine. The machine leans back and the bars are pressed parallel to the ground.


Technique
1. Adjust the seat so that the handles are aligned at the tops of your armpits.  
2. Grasp the handles with palms facing towards you.
3. Push the levers until your arms are fully extended.

CAUTIONS!!
• Never exercise without a competent spotter.
