Dumbbell Concentration Curls

Purpose of this exercise: TO DEVELOP THE BICEPS, ESPECIALLY THE OUTSIDE BICEPS

This exercise isolates the biceps, to fully focus on the contraction.


Technique
1. Sit on the end of a bench bent over at the waist with one arms hanging straight down between the legs with the elbow resting on the knee.
2. With the arm fully extended grasp a dumbbell with a palm up grip.
3. Keeping the upper arm motionless, curl the dumbbell up to the shoulder while focusing on the biceps.
4. Slowly lower the dumbbell until the arm is fully extended.
5. Change the arms when all the reps are finished.
 

CAUTIONS!!
•Do not lean back as you lift the dumbbells.
