Reverse Grip Tricep Pushdown

Purpose of this exercise: TO DEVELOP THE TRICEPS

This exercise isolates the tricep better than most other tricep exercises. It takes a lot of work off of the shoulders and places more on the arms.

Technique
1. Stand in front of the machine with both feet in a stable position.
2. Grasp the bar with palms facing up about six inches apart in front of the shoulders.
3. Keep elbows tucked in close to the body and stationary.
4. Press the bar down in an arc as far as possible, locking out the arms and feeling the triceps fully contract.
5. Slowly bring up the bar to the starting position.

CAUTIONS!!

If you develop elbow pain, please consult your doctor and try other triceps exercises.
•Never exercise without a competent spotter
