Manual Upright Row/Shrug

Purpose of this exercise: TO STRENGTHEN THE DELTOID, TRAPEZIUS, RHOMBOID

This exercise requires a partner. The upright row is excellent for developing the front of the arms, the neck, and the upper back. This exercise works on a lot of large muscle groups at the same time.

Technique
1. Hold a towel in a fairly close grip. Facing your partner, have them push down on the middle of the towel, creating resistance for you.
2. Pull the towel up to chin level slowly and then return to starting position.

CAUTIONS!!
•Never exercise without a competent spotter who can judge how much resistance to place on the towel.
