Manual Bicep Curl

Purpose of this exercise: TO STRENGTHEN THE BICEP

This manual exercise can be done alone or with a partner. This is a good alternate exercise if you don't have access to weights to preform regular curls.

Technique
1. Start with one arm at your side, slightly bent. With your other hand, press against the hand at your side to create the resistance for this exercise.
2. Bending at the elbow, slowly pull the arm at rest up, creating resistance with the second arm.
3. Once your hand touches your chest, lower your arm slowly, but continue to apply pressure with the second arm.

CAUTIONS!!
•Never exercise without a competent spotter who can judge how much resistance to place on the towel.
