Dumbbell One-Arm Triceps Press

Purpose of this exercise: TO STRENGTHEN AND DEVELOP THE TRICEPS

This exercise is a good developer for the entire triceps muscle. It is essential to keep the movement isolated to the triceps for the full benefit of this exercise.

Technique
1. Sit on a flat bench, with feet flat on a floor.
2. Take a dumbbell in one hand and hold it in the arm that is extended.
3. Keep the extended arm close to the head by the holding stationary with the other hand.
4. Slowly lower the dumbbell behind the head until the triceps is under full stretch.
5. Slowly raise the dumbbell until the arms is fully extended.
6. Repeat with other arm.

CAUTIONS!!
•Be sure to go back and forth from one hand to the other without stopping to rest .
•Never exercise without a competent spotter. If you exercise until muscle failure, you may have difficulty bringing the weight back to the front.
