Back extensions are also called "hyperextensions".

Technique
1. Place hips on the extension bench so that you can bend over at the waist.
2. Lock feet in the bench pads.
3. Allow the torso to be at a 90 degree bend at the waist and put your hands on your head.
4. Slowly raise your torso until it is parallel with the floor.
5. Return slowly to the start position by bending at the waist.
6. Addition-Hold onto a weight in front of the chest for added resistance.

CAUTIONS!!

Do not extend above parallel or you could put too much pressure on the spinal disks.
