Block Jumps

Purpose of this exercise: TO CREATE EXPLOSION and POWER IN LEGS

This is an excellent exercise for increasing your vertical jump.


Technique
1. Begin with both feet on the ground, shoulder-width apart.  
2. Squat low and jump up as high as you can, extending your arms straight up above your head, as if you were blocking a ball in volleyball.
3. Land with your knees bent, gain your balance and repeat.

CAUTIONS!!
•Try to keep your leaps under control and contained.
