Box Jumps

Purpose of this exercise: TO DEVELOP STRENGTH and POWER

Box jumping should begin with low-impact jumps for a low box.


Technique
1. Begin with both feet on the ground, shoulder width apart.  
2. Bend your knees slightly and jump up and forward, landing on the top of the box.
3. Jump or step back down. Regain your balance and repeat.  

CAUTIONS!!
•If you are a beginner at box jumping, start with a small box about 0.3 meter (1 foot) tall.
•Never exercise without a competent spotter.
